Steam RP
Steam is a digital distribution, digital rights management, multiplayer and communications platform developed by Valve Corporation. It is used to distribute games and related media online, from small independent developers to larger software houses. Steam also has community features, automated game updates, and in-game voice and chat functionality.
Out of Steam spawned what is now commonly referred to as the Steam Roleplay Community (SRC) or simply Steam RP. The SRC is a community within Steam's community of gamer's. SRC is essentially a semi-political, multi-cultural, international political simulation which spans throughout all time periods and civilizations of humanity's past.
It is in the Steam roleplaying community that many find a new way of entertainment. Many have fun portraying themselves as their favourate historical figures and leading groups that are based on their favourate historical nations.
